We never want you to miss out on the fun of Goliathon, but we do understand that life is unpredictable. Bones get broken. Friends plan weddings without first checking your schedule. And travel opportunities suddenly arise that are simply too good to pass up. That's why we've created a racer-friendly cancellation policy that allows you to defer your registration to a future event or transfer it as a credit toward another participant's registration. But for the sanity of our small, volunteer management team, we do have a process and deadlines that must be followed – so please try to plan ahead.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Policy updated September 27, 2022 – Please read carefully. 

 

Refunds are not provided under any circumstances. However, we do allow you to defer your registration to a future event or transfer it as a credit toward someone else's registration. Fees apply. Read below for details.

NOTE: If you are a Team Captain and you need to make a change to your registration or if you need to make a registration change for someone who is 10-14 years of age, please contact info@goliathon.com, as these changes cannot be made online. 

DEFER YOUR REGISTRATION TO A FUTURE EVENT

DEADLINE: The Wednesday before the event @ 11:59 PM (ET) 
FEE: $10 ($20 for 2023)

STEPS:

  • Log into myevents.active.com 

  • Locate your registration

  • Click Change event

  • Select the new event

  • Select new category (You may be forced to choose Individual. If you want to join a team later, you can do that online once your team has been created or by contacting info@goliathon.com.)

  • Click Continue

  • Verify Registration information

  • Agree to the waiver

  • Enter Electronic signature

  • Click Continue

  • Click Complete

 

TRANSFER YOUR REGISTRATION AS A CREDIT TOWARD A NEW PARTICIPANT'S REGISTRATION.

DEADLINE: The Wednesday before the event @ 11:59 PM (ET) 
FEE: $10 ($20 for 2023)

STEPS:

  • Log into myevents.active.com

  • Locate your registration

  • Click transfer registration

  • Enter new participant's email address in email address field

  • Enter new participant's email address in confirm email address

  • Click Submit

A confirmation email verifying that the transfer process has been initiated will be sent to both you (the transferring participant) and the new participant. The new participant will need to open the email notification (subject line “Claim your registration for Goliathon from [original participant]”) and click claim registration and follow the steps below:

  • Log in to ACTIVE.com

  • Complete registration form

  • Click Continue

  • Click Check out 

IMPORTANT: The new participant will be responsible for paying the full, current registration fee, which may be higher than what the original participant paid. Once the transfer process is complete, the original participant will receive a refund minus the transfer fee and any applicable processing fees. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. 

 

Note: Registrations for someone below 18 can only be viewed and transferred by the guardian who registered them; registrations made by someone else on your behalf (if you are an adult) can be transferred by that person or by yourself.
