A MESSAGE TO OUR GOLIATHON COMMUNITY:

It’s hard to believe that this month we found ourselves in the same position we were in four months ago – prayerfully and thoughtfully trying to determine the best course of action for our upcoming event.

As you can imagine, there has been much for us to consider. Our biggest concern remains the health and safety of our participants and volunteers. We also need to ensure that we're adhering to the stipulations put forth by the state of New Jersey – and anticipating how the current guidelines might change between now and October 24. Additionally, we’re taking into account the health and safety of the Mullica Hill community at large, as well as the impact our decision will have on participants traveling from out of state. For all of these reasons, we have decided to cancel our October event. Further details have been emailed to all current registrants.

We’re disappointed. The importance of the work we do is evident now more than ever. Clean water for sanitation and good hygiene is critical in stopping the virus – yet our efforts to bring clean water to communities around the world have been temporarily halted. We believe that getting out on the course together would be beneficial for our bodies and our minds – yet we’re forced to wait. So instead, we're focusing on what we can do in order to return in 2021 stronger than we are today. We challenge you to do the same.

Stay strong and keeping pressing on!
The Goliathon Team

A MESSAGE TO OUR GOLIATHON COMMUNITY:

The last month has been very difficult for our nation, and it’s our sincere hope and prayer that you and your loved ones are healthy and adjusting as best you can to this new way of life.

During this time, we’ve been giving much thought and consideration to our Spring 2020 event and the most appropriate path forward for all involved. Because the health and safety of our participants and volunteers has always been and continues to remain our top priority (and because we don’t know when the state of New Jersey will permit large gatherings), we have determined the most prudent decision is to postpone our June 6 event until October 24. This will be our only event for the year.

If you’re currently registered for the June 6 event, we will automatically move your registration to the new date, and you will receive an email confirmation when the move is complete. No further action is needed from you. If you’re unable to attend the new date, you can transfer your registration to our Spring 2021 event or to another participant.

Our Goliathon community thrives on overcoming obstacles – and this one is no different. While we don’t know what the future holds, we believe that we will be stronger on the other side of this pandemic. Until then, we must do our part to fight the best way we know how, which is to limit exposure to the virus. We look forward to the time when we’re reunited on the course, working together to fight another global crisis – access to clean water.

Stay safe and keep training,

The Goliathon Team
